G&G Productions strives to make your Home and Garden Show experience a pleasant and profitable one. Join us in 2013 – February 22, 23, & 24, at the Kern County Fairgrounds – for our 27th annual event! (In 2012, our attendance was over 20,000 – one of the highest attended three day consumer shows in California). G&G Productions promotes two (2) shows a year, and both are held at the Kern County Fairgrounds, the only facility in the area large enough to accommodate even our events.

PARTICIPATING EXHIBITORS -

ALL COMPANIES PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2013 BAKERSFIELD HOME AND GARDEN SHOW MUST HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT ON FILE AT LEAST FOUR (4) WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SHOW. SIGNING A CONTRACT DURING CHECK-IN IS NO LONGER AN OPTION.

IMPORTANT – VIP PASS GUIDELINES

A limited quantity of VIP (free entry) passes are made available to local merchants as a marketing tool, i.e., to thank current customers or to reach out to potential clients. They are not to be given out by the hand-full, passed out at any fairgrounds entry gate or parking lot any time during the 2013 Home and Garden Show, nor are they to be sold anywhere or under any circumstances. Any merchant and/or company representative found disregarding the above guidelines will immediately be escorted from the show and will not be asked back to any G&G Productions event.

VERY IMPORTANT – CHECK-IN POLICY

Please note – CHECK-IN is different from SET-UP.

As per the contract and other notices sent, we may cancel any merchant who has not checked-in at a show office at the Kern County Fairgrounds by 10:30 am on Friday, February 22nd, unless that merchant has contacted G&G Productions management and received prior permission to check-in after the 2/22/13, 10:30 am cut off.  NO EXCEPTIONS. Additionally, a merchant requesting late check-in must be paid-in-full and have a signed 2013 contract on file. ALL REGULAR CHECK-IN WILL END AT 10:00 AM ON FRIDAY, 2/22/13. BOOTH SET-UP CONTINUES UNTIL 10:30 AM.  CALL 916-718-1053 FOR THE FAIRGROUNDS SHOW OFFICE.

THERE IS NO SET-UP ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2013. THIS YEAR’S SHOW WILL OPEN AT 12:00 PM ON FRIDAY.

Hotel Information

The hotel listed below is recommend for exhibitors while attending the show; we have arranged a “merchant discount” with them. TO QUALIFY FOR THE REDUCED RATES, YOU MUST MENTION THAT YOU ARE A MERCHANT IN THE 2013 HOME AND GARDEN SHOW.

RV Hookups

Merchants with RVs can arrange for space on site (most are full hookup) at the Kern County Fairgrounds. The number of spots are limited and are assigned on a first come, first served basis.  Contact the fairgrounds administration office for further information at 661-833-4958(G&G PRODUCTIONS CANNOT MAKE RV SPACE RESERVATIONS).

(The fairgrounds does NOT have a forklift to rent. Any company with merchandise to unload MUST provide it’s own forklift.  YOU MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR A FORKLIFT.

PARKING, Friday February 22, 2013. ALL vehicles must be parked in their designated parking areas (GATE 28 OR GATE 40) after 10:30 am.  NO VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE FAIRGRONDS. YOU MAY CARRY OR HAND-TRUCK ITEMS ONTO THE FAIRGROUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Show Hours (open to public)

Friday, 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. (Buildings are open to merchants between 8 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.)

Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Buildings are open to merchants between 8 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.)

Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Buildings are open to merchants between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.)

Exhibit Tear-Down

SHOW POLICY - No merchant may tear down and/or begin removing product/equipment before the ADVERTISED 5 p.m. Sunday closing time. If a company is observed violating this policy, it will be fined $100. If the fine is not paid, then that company will not be invited back to ANY G&G Productions events. (Over the years we’ve had several complaints from both merchants and attendees, and have experienced several near-miss situation between a vendor and a family attending the show).
